Tommy Knife Custom Folding Knife
Tommy Knife Custom Folder: A custom design by Tom Clarke and Duane Dwyer. The limited production run was each one hand touched and serialized. The entire Tommy Knife line is designed for a forward or reverse grip application.
Grips: The handles were designed in a way that when you form a grip the foreign debris is pushed out allowing a secure grip of skin against the material. There are no wraps or acute angles where mud or debris could accumulate which could interfere with a secure solid grip. If foreign debris is not able to escape from a handle, often seen with wraps or a divot inlay, a smooth and slippery surface will result and error is likely.
Frame: Handle is G10 custom sculpted grip. The titanium lock side has a stonewashed, bronze anodized finish, heated for a subtle bronze finish.
Blade Material: The Tommy Knife Folder is custom made using CPM 3V, which meets the three major balancing factors: toughness (impact), wear resistance (edge retention) and corrosion. The toughness scale of CPM 3V is superior to all other blade material most often used. CPM 3V is an alloy so it will not corrode like standard carbon steel. The Wear Resistance is comparable to CPM S30V.
Blade Style: Double hollow ground spear-point. Brushed flats with satin grinds. Each blade post-heat treat.
