About the Tommy Knife® TK-G:  Medium in size, it has a chisel ground / wedge profile with an interrupted surface.  As with most of Tom Clarke's custom design knife line, Tommy Knife®, they are intended to be used in either hand, so they are offered in both a right or left grind.  The entire Tommy Knife line is designed for a forward or reverse grip application.

About the Handle:  The Caveman grip handles were designed in a way that when you form a grip the foreign debris is pushed out allowing a secure grip of skin against the material. There are no wraps or acute angles where mud or debris could accumulate which could interfere with a secure solid grip.  If foreign debris is not able to escape from a handle, often seen with wraps or a divot inlay, a smooth and slippery surface will result and error is likely.

Blade Material:  Custom made with CPM 3V, which meets the three major balancing factors: toughness (impact), wear resistance (edge retention) and corrosion. The toughness scale of CPM3V is superior to all other blade material most often used. CPM 3V is an alloy so it will not corrode like standard carbon steel.  The Wear Resistance is comparable to CPM S30V.

*Custom made; each knife is a unique final design of the sculpted grip and interrupted blade surface and cutting edge due to the fact that this can only be done one knife at a time by hand.
